Notes from a first colour-season check
I have narrowed my notes to Deep Summer and Soft Winter for now. The usual palette images stop helping when the tones are close. I first set up a small comparison in indirect daylight. I also left out makeup, jewellery, and patterned clothing for the test. I noticed that richer colours looked striking while sometimes emphasising tired shadows. Softer blue and berry fabrics felt comfortable, but I may simply prefer them. The useful notes were about clarity, contrast, and how even my skin appeared. A structured color analysis could give me another way to compare those observations before I label anything. I know a digital result cannot settle a close seasonal comparison on its own. How have you checked whether depth or softness is doing more of the work? Advice that does not depend on perfect sunshine would be especially helpful. For now, I would rather improve the comparison than choose a category too quickly. I hope that a slower record will make my final comparison less influenced by mood. I appreciate ideas from people who have worked through similar uncertainty.
